The insurance shuffle. One doctor refers you to another, who then refers you to yet another, who then will call you to schedule a necessary consultation, to eventually schedule your procedure. Anyone else tired of this? It costs approximately $300 per office visit in this case. Why does it take 6 visits to finally get something taken care of that everyone knew needed addressed by the 2nd?
Simple. Insurance money. There’s no value in health. Yet here we are in the routine where people profit off of our well being. They found “something” on my liver during my CT scan, but in the meantime, we’ll just “keep and eye on it.” Keeping an eye on it will no doubt result in how many visits to the doctor’s office?
